Happy 2024! We hope your year is off to a wonderful start.

Needleworks began the new year with gratitude. We’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support and understanding as Judith made the difficult decision to close the Workroom at the end of 2023.

Needleworks will reopen on Thursday, February 1, 2024!

“The future of craftsmanship is in the hands of those who dedicate themselves to passing on their skills to young talents.” The workroom has been sold to a local Birminghamian and lover of needlepoint, Flynt Connor. The staff remains committed to this legacy.

A Personal Note from Flynt:

My name is Flynt Connor and I’ve been needlepointing for almost 10 years. During this time, I have been a loyal customer of Needleworks. When Needleworks announced it was closing the workroom this past fall, I couldn’t bear to think about this beloved landmark of needlepoint disappearing and having to find other finishers. After speaking with the Needleworks staff and finishers about reopening and their interest in continuing the legacy, I decided to take a leap of faith and purchase Needleworks.

The workroom will reopen on Thursday, February 1, 2024 and remain at the same location and maintain the hours of Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00am-1:00pm for drop off & pick up. Appointments available upon request.

I look forward to meeting you and assisting you with your needlepoint finishing, and hope you will continue to support the historic legacy of Needleworks.
