Hello friends!
Firstly, we are grateful to all frontline workers who continue to work tirelessly in the midst of this pandemic. We recognize they are forgoing their safety and comfort so that the rest of us have the ability to stay in the comfort of our homes. These essential workers have kept grocery stores open, offered vital delivery services, and provided medical and emergency services to all of us in an effort to keep the rest of us safe. We recognize our obligation to protect vulnerable people within our community.
We are excited to open our workroom for business and begin accepting finishing once again! Our amended business practices are our commitment to keep our customers, employees, finishers, and family members safe from exposure to the COVID-19 virus. It will be a while before any of us are able to share sewing supplies, scissors, and our personal space with stitching friends.
So, with these ever-changing times we want to update everyone with our “new normal.”
The Alabama Department of Public Health outlined a new statewide Coronavirus emergency health order effective April 30 at 5pm, which relaxes a previous health order. This order remains in effect until 5pm on May 15.
From May 1, our operation includes the following:
- The workroom is open to staff only.
- We will meet you at your vehicle for curbside drop-off and pick-up of projects.
- Extended Curbside Hours
- Weekdays from 10am–1pm
- Saturday from 10am–2pm
- Extended Curbside Hours
- We are ready to discuss your project using FaceTime, and other applications. Email, phone calls, and texting are available, as well. To make an appointment, please click here.
- Please download and complete finishing forms for each project prior to drop-off. We will bring plastic bags to your vehicle, as needed.
- We will resume accepting shipments from customers May 1st.
- We are encouraging credit card payments by phone or checks when picking up finishing. We use a secure mail order/telephone order credit card service.
- Our staff is committed to maintaining a safe work environment and will wear protective equipment, such as masks and gloves, and keep a sanitized workspace.
We look forward to working with everyone and can’t wait to see the wonderful projects each of you has been stitching! Thank you for your patience and support.
All the best,
Judith, Hazel, Rhonda, Judi, Ivey, Heather, Linda, Jill, Lynda, and Laurie
