Notes for Pillows:

– Needleworks is currently at capacity for pillows and we are on pause for accepting new pillows for finishing.

– Moving forward, we will no longer be finishing gusseted (boxed edge) pillows.

Stuffed with Base

Finishing technique used: stuffed with a base and weighted.

3D Rigid Form

Finishing technique used: Canvas assembled as shaped rigid form with weight.

Wall Hanging

Finishing technique used: Wall hanging with inset and twisted cording at inset and edge.

Bean Bag

Finishing technique used: Canvas appliqued to small round pillow filled with poly-pellets.

Dimensional Stuffed Stand Up

Finishing technique used: Stuffed stand up. Additional embellishment: leaves and stem.

Board

Finishing technique used: Simple sign with ribbons, charms, and two-point loop.

Finishing technique used: Board ornament with acrylic easel, no loop.

Finishing technique used: Canvas is dimensionally stable, yet flexible, with an opening at the base to accommodate tree branch.

Finishing technique used: Canvas is dimensionally stable, with a boxed edge and an opening at the base to accommodate tree branch.

Pillow

Finishing technique used: stuffed and finished with velvet or ultra suede backing, corded edges.
Note: if you are turning in a pillow and want special fabric (other than velvet or ultra suede) please include it with your canvas, as well as any cording or fringe you would like on the pillow.

Updates:

Submission update as of May 1, 2026: We have been very blessed with business! We ask that you please hold onto your canvases until June 1 so that we may catch up. Stockings, pillows, or leather items (belt, key fob) may still be submitted during this time.

Pillows:
– Needleworks is currently accepting pillows for finishing. Please call the workshop to confirm your pillow project prior to sending.
– If you would like fringe/braid or a specific fabric with your pillow, please send the materials in with your canvas. If you do not send in materials, we have beautiful velvets and ultrasuedes we can use.
– Moving forward, we will no longer be finishing gusseted (boxed edge) pillows.

Stockings:
– If you would like a twisted cord on your stocking, please provide the cord with your canvas.

Boxes:
– We no longer finish hinged boxes.
